Summer never really makes an impact on the Mitta valley. The days are never too hot up here in the mountains and every night is a doona night. But if you want to cool off then there is no shortage of mountain creeks and river pools to take a dip. Why not take a picnic basket and set out in a 4wd to explore the mountain streams.

Take a boat and set sail upon the vast waters of the Dartmouth Dam that holds more water than Sydney harbor.
